Finally! On 15th march, the Quarter final matches have been decided after a stunning display from all the clubs in the round-of-16 progressing the competition further.

- BARCELONA V MANCHESTER UNITED
With 8 teams fighting for the cup and to call themselves the champions of Europe, the fixtures have certainly raised some predictions to who could eventually lift the trophy. While the football world is still buzzing from the round of 16 comebacks and last-minute thrillers, the quarter finals is going to be a close call with some high calibre teams in the mix-up

Ajax vs Juventus
Juventus and Ajax are still enjoying their latest comebacks from the round of 16 and this seems like a close call. Juventus and Ronaldo are living up to the standards both in Champions league and Serie A being 19 points clear of the table. They bring some big names to the line up and cannot be taken lightly. Ajax are the underdogs of the tournament but are showing a lot of potential with young stars like Frenkie Dejong and DeLigt. They also knocked the defending champions Real Madrid out of the tournament.
Liverpool vs Porto
Liverpool are having a stunning season and have fought their way into the quarter finals with Van Dijk and Salah showing great potential. Mohammed Salah hasn’t been able to score against the big teams but he is not done yet. Liverpool beat former champions Bayern Munich in the 3-1 win. Fc Porto are 2ndin the Portuguese league and have managed to beat Roma in the R16 to progress into the quarters. They have a tough task ahead of them with Liverpool geared to bring home the cup but they have managed to surprise before.
Tottenham vs Manchester City
Both the English sides are familiar with the playing styles and would treat this as a domestic game with Manchester City at the top of the table looking on course for a treble this year. Pep Guardiola has won the Champions League before on several occasions with Barcelona and will try to fetch Man City their first Cup. Tottenham are 3Rdin the league but are putting pressure in the game with a brilliant offence. Harry Kane is back from Injury and is eyeing Tottenham their first Cup.
FC Barcelona vs Manchester United
This is the highlight fixture as old foes Fc Barcelona and Manchester United go head to head for the 12thtime in the champions league. Messi and co are looking to finish a strong 3rdtreble this year as they look ruthless with their tactics. Valverde is making the most of the world class players to bring home the cup. Manchester United has had a resurgence under Ole Gunnar Soljkaer and have fought their way through the R16 against PSG. They have kept their cup hopes alive with Pogba and Lukaku showing real skill and youngster Marcus Rashford shining under the spotlight.
