Denver Pridefest returns; The parade stretches from Cheeseman Park to the city center
The pre-parade rally begins at 9:00 a.m. at Civic Center Park. There will be live music, highlight reels of the season, live video feed of the parade.
The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Union Station. Fans are welcome on the 17th route from Union Station to Broadway, then south to Civic Center Park.
There will be some limited parking spaces for people with impaired mobility. The first lot will be in the northwest corner of the 16th and Wincoop and the second will be in the northeast corner of the 17th and Curtis. Those spots are available on a first come first served basis.
Parking is available for the rally at 12 and the Cultural Center Complex garage at Broadway. There will be limited seating in front of city and county buildings.
DOTI crews will close Bancock on Wednesday from 6:00 a.m. to 14 p.m. They will close at 6:00 a.m. Thursday between Delaware and Broadway, the 14th between Colefax and the 13th between Bannock and Colefax and the 13th between Cherokee.
Attendees are urged to use RTD to get to downtown.
It is also recommended to bring plenty of water. High levels are expected to reach 90s on Thursday and the site will not be watered. Hats and sunscreen are also highly recommended.
Our main league sports team last won the championship for the Broncos in 2016. Although it has not yet been officially mapped, the location of the parade and celebration may look similar.

In 2016, the parade followed the same route, starting near Union Station at 17th Street and Wincoop Street, from 17th to Broadway, down to 13th Avenue below Broadway, and to the 13th City and County Building for the big rally.
