In front of the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, every one of the 24 head mentors at clubs crosswise over MLS met up to posture for what was the biggest yearly MLS mentors’ photograph yet.
The photograph includes six bosses who still can’t seem to deal with a MLS match: FC Cincinnati’s Alan Koch, Atlanta United’s Frank de Boer, the LA Galaxy’s Guillermo Barros Schelotto, FC Dallas’ Luchi Gonzalez the San Jose Earthquakes’ Matias Almeyda and the Vancouver Whitecaps’ Marc Dos Santos.
Also of note: There is no situation of respect (with a mentor holding a game ball) this year, with MLS Cup winner Tata Martino departing Atlanta following the season. In the best line, Atlantic Cup match managers Chris Armas and Ben Olsen are one next to the other. What’s more, just beneath them are Toronto FC commander Michael Bradley’s head mentor, Greg Vanney, beside Bradley’s father, LAFC director Bob Bradley.
