ZIM vs. IND: The five-match T201 series between Zimbabwe and India’s redesigned cricket squad will get underway on Saturday, July 6. It should be mentioned that Shubman Gill’s young team will be playing Zimbabwe. Throughout this entire series, VVS Laxman, the head of NCA, will serve as the head coach.
On Wednesday, July 3, the Men in Blue arrived in Zimbabwe ahead of the five-match T201 series, and they were greeted with great warmth.
For this series, the BCCI announced that they had made three changes to the team: wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma, bowler Harshit Rana, and batter Sai Sudharsan. For the first two Twenty20 Internationals, all of these players will start in place of Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Shivam Dube, who were stranded with the Indian team in Barbados because of Hurricane Beryl and would eventually join the team.
