After a 4-month absence, MJF makes a comeback as CM Punk wins the AEW Championship.
All Elite Wrestling’s top man is once again CM Punk. Punk regained the AEW Championship by defeating Jon Moxley in the main event at All Out. Four standout matchups made up the pay-per-main view’s event, which was great. The final scene of the show featured MJF’s comeback rather than Punk’s jubilation.
The Casino Ladder Match champion from earlier in the evening earned a future opportunity to compete for the AEW Championship. That disguised figure was identified as MJF after the main event when he emerged to face Punk in front of the Chicago audience.
The AEW Tag Team Championship contest between Swerve in my Glory and The Acclaimed was likely the most noteworthy bout of the evening. That, however, is the greatest news from the event. The Chicago crowd’s appetite for The Acclaimed was left unquenched, as Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland retained their gold. However, the audience was quite engaged in the game, and the times when The Acclaimed appeared to be winning were undoubtedly the most thrilling of the evening.
The victories of Chris Jericho over Bryan Danielson and The Young Bucks, who were crowned the first-ever AEW Trios Champions, respectively, were the other notable matchups. On the same programme, Luchasaurus turned on Jungle Boy prior to his match with Christian Cage, and Toni Storm won the interim title for women.
