Ravindra Jadeja, a renowned all-rounder for India who missed the most recent ODI series against the West Indies, recently posted a picture of himself wearing his India jersey on Twitter with the comment “Blue addiction.” Since then, speculation over his IPL future has been rife on social media. Chennai Super Kings, of which he has been a member since 2013, appears to have put a stop to it.
After their disappointing performance in the 2017 IPL, Rohit Sharma will be more than pleased to have Jadeja’s services if he joins the Mumbai Indians team as of next year, according to the Mumbai Indians’ supporters (2022).
The tweet sparked a healthy banter between CSK fans and MI fans as one user wrote, ‘But we want to see back in yellow also.’ while another tweet read, ‘IPL having more blue jersey team. But he is going to stay on Yellow.’
The CSK team’s captain since last year, Jadeja, resigned after eight games as the defending champions struggled to get going. The 33-year-removal old’s of his Instagram photos featuring CSK last month when he was on tour in England only served to confirm the rumours that he has had a tense relationship with the team’s administration.
