Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 Will Start on October 18

This year’s Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 will get off on October 18, the league’s organizers declared on Wednesday. The largest kabaddi league in the world will enter a new phase in October, having successfully completed ten seasons of the Pro Kabaddi League earlier this year.

The three-city caravan structure will be reinstated in season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League. The 2024 competition will get underway on October 18 in Hyderabad’s Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. On November 10, the second leg will take place at Noida Indoor Stadium. The third leg is scheduled to begin on December 3 at Pune’s Balewadi Badminton Stadium.

The dates and venue for the Playoffs will be announced later.

Speaking on the announcement of the dates for PKL Season 11, Anupam Goswami, League Commissioner, “We are delighted to announce the start date and venues for PKL Season 11. After successfully completing 10 seasons, PKL Season 11 will mark a new milestone in the continued rise of the league. This would strengthen the growth of Kabaddi in India and elsewhere around the world.”

Eight players sold for more than INR 1 crore at the Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 Auction, which took place in Mumbai on August 15–16, 2024, setting a new record for the league.

The PKL is now among the most prosperous sports leagues in India thanks to the efforts of Mashal Sports and Disney Star. The Pro Kabaddi League has changed the perception of India’s native sport of Kabaddi and its players both domestically and internationally. Several countries that play Kabaddi have also improved their domestic Kabaddi programs after observing the involvement of numerous players in the PKL.
