The Next Gen ATP Finals, which will feature the top young tennis players under 20 who are causing waves on the ATP Tour, will begin on Wednesday, December 23, in Jeddah.
The Next Gen ATP Finals are only open to the top eight players in the ATP rankings. Arthur Fils has once again cemented his position among the top this year. He is joined by Alex Michelsen and Luca Van Assche, who are all making it to the Finals for the second consecutive year.
The top seed, Arthur Fils, lost heartbreakingly to Serbian Hamad Medjedovic in a five-set thriller in the first-ever Next Gen Finals last year. And guess what? Fils is once again the top seed this year.

Round-robin matches will kick off the ATP Next Gen Finals on December 18 and 20. The semifinals, which will be held on December 21, will thereafter be reached by the top four players. On December 22, the grand final will take place.

What is the Next Gen ATP Finals prize money?
The Next Gen ATP Finals prize fund is $2,050,000, or approximately ₹17 crore. The runner-up will earn $153,000 (₹1.3 crore), and the winner will receive $526,480 (₹4.4 crore).
In addition to achieving fame, the ATP Next Gen Finals competitors receive some scrumptious money. The participation fee is $150,000 (₹1.24 crore) for each player and $15,000 (₹12 lakh) for alternates. The players’ earnings increase by $113,500 (₹94 lakh) for a semifinal triumph and $36,660 (₹30 lakh) for each round-robin match victory.
