From SRH vs RCB, we move to the second match of the day where Chennai Super Kings is going to take on the Rajasthan Royals at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. This is the second home game for CSK and they are the only team who is undefeated in the league till now.
Team Analysis
Everything has worked for CSK till now. Their bowling unit has worked tremendously well. Batting unit also did fairly in whatever opportunity it got. In the last two matches Shane Watson, Suresh Raina, and Harbhajan Singh have given some stand out performances.
Rajasthan Royals have lost both of their matches in the league. None of these matches were one-sided. In the first match against KXIP, they lost after a controversial ending. In the second match, Sanju Samson played one of the best knocks in the history of IPL. But that was not enough against David Warner and Jonny Bairstow’s heroic performance. RR is just one step away from a comprehensive win. Point of concern, however, would be their bowling which has given 180+ runs in both the matches.
Pitch
MA Chidambaram is a stadium which favors spin bowling a lot. CSK have Harbhajan and Imran Tahir who will be the key player in today’s match. RR doesn’t have any big spinner in their starting XI as they have depended a lot on their pace attack.
Squad
However, they have Ish Sodhi on the bench. They can include him but at whose cost?
There are many questions and every question will be answered before midnight.
CSK are the favorite in this match because they are CSK. 🙂
