Kings XI Punjab will be hosting Mumbai Indians in their own home today in the first match of Indian Premier League. Last year KXIP just played 3 matches in Mohali and rest matches were played in Indore. Before moving out of Mohali, KXIP were on a dream run but they lost their way and ended up as a second-last team on the points table. This is a fresh match and both the teams will look to leave their past behind. KXIP have an explosive batting unit as well as a formidable spin-attack.
MI, on the other hand, has some of the best bowlers of the world in their pace attack.
The contest between these two promises to be a thriller. On paper both the teams look somewhat similar but KXIP will go down as the favorite in this match. As they have home advantage over MI and due to their star-studded batting unit.
