As we discussed in my previous article about how the youngsters have shown their talents in this season of Indian Premier League. This clearly shows that the future of Indian cricket lies in very safe hands as these are full of immense potential and are ready to perform at big stages.
Now we here are to talk about the players of the current Indian cricket team, how they performed and how far they took their teams in this season of Indian Premier League. From the top order including Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli and then to middle order including the likes of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja, moving on to the spin department including Yuzi Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav and lastly comes the fast bowlers including Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvi Kumar and Mohammed Shami.
Both Shikhar and Rohit looked in good touch throughout the season and especially Shikhar Dhawan. He played some exceptional innings and took his team to playoffs after a long time. Whereas Rohit Sharma once again proved his captaincy skills by winning the 4th IPL title. But if we talk about the Indian skipper Virat Kohli, he didn’t look in great touch except for that century. This can cause some issues to the Indian team as the World Cups are going to start very soon.
Once again the legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni has proved that there is none better than him who can handle pressure at the later parts of the game, showing some masterclass chases in this IPL season too. But the guy who is likely to fill his boots in the Indian cricket is Hardik Pandya impressed everyone with his hitting abilities at the end and bowling some crucial over too. Sir Jadeja looked in good touch too as he keeps on taking wickets at regular intervals whenever the team needs the most.
The latest spin sensation duo of Indian Cricket team has a great impact on the World Cups but if we look at Kuldeep Yadav’s performance, it was not so good and exceptional. But at the same time, Yuzi Chahal did some great sort of bowling and impressed every fan of Royal Challengers Bangalore.
In my perspective, the fast bowling department of India which includes Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvi Kumar and Mohammed Shami is one of the best in the world. Their performance in the IPL was really good especially the quality of Bumrah bowling in the death over. This department of Indian Team can give the lead over several other teams.
