Two of the best franchises of IPL are locking horns against each other at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Both of them have won IPL three times each. While Chennai Super Kings are the defending champions, Mumbai Indians won the 10th season of the IPL. Both of them have produced some of the best matches in the history of IPL. Shane Watson’s silenced all his critics with his knock of 96 runs in the last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Scoring at a strike rate of 181.13, he smashed 6 sixes and 9 boundaries. Suresh Raina too performed decently in that match. Overall it seems CSK’s batting issues have been resolved.
However, inexperience in the fast bowling department has come up too often. But their spinners are performing well in every match. Like every year, their place in the playoffs is confirmed.
