Royal Challengers Bangalore was literally bullied by Chennai Super Kings in the first match of the Indian Premier League when they met for the first time this year. Today both the teams will lock horn against each other for the second time.
On paper, Chennai Super Kings have always looked a weaker side and all those injuries to their key players have only added to the miseries. But in any sports what matters is how you perform on any day. This thing is what makes CSK different from any other teams, although they have had their share of brain fade in some matches but it is part of the game. Every team has played this year’s IPL to win the game but CSK is playing to defend their trophy and they have done the work perfectly.
For Royal Challengers Bangalore many of the things have gone wrong. The first and most important problem is things were not in sync. Their batting, bowling, and fielding didn’t come up as one unit in many of the games. They are too much dependent on AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli. Both of them have played really well but they need players who can absorb pressure and score runs in any situations. Well, they have played 9 matches and for qualifying, they need to play every other game as the do or die match. Apart from this, they need to have some luck with them in the end for qualifying.
MS Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo will be back for CSK. While de Villiers will be back for RCB. Bravo’s comeback will only make CSK stronger side to play against. While RCB won their last game without de Villiers.
