Haryana Steelers Overcome the Patna Pirates 32–23 to Win their First Pro Kabaddi League Championship

After defeating the Patna Pirates in the championship match, the Haryana Steelers took home their first-ever Pro Kabaddi League title on Sunday.

With nine points from Shivam Patare, seven from Mohammadreza Shadloui, and six more from Vinay, the Steelers prevailed 32–23. The winners received Rs 3 crore, while the runners-up, the Pirates, received Rs 1.8 crore.

The Steelers took the lead and the first few points of the game in the opening exchanges, with Patare and Shadloui setting the parameters for the eventual winners.

The Steelers’ defense, which was led by Jaideep and Rahul Sethpal, made it very difficult for the Patna Pirates to score, but as the half went on, Gurdeep and Sudhakar pulled the Pirates back within striking distance of their rivals.

The Haryana Steelers were pushed in the box seat by Patare and Vinay after Devank and Ayan leveled the playing field. The runners-up from Season 10 then kept improving. The Haryana Steelers were ahead 15–12 at the half.

With Sudhakar giving the Pirates the lead, the second half got off to a slower start than the first.

To stay in the running for their first championship, though, Shadloui and Jaideep scored vital points, and by the end of the half, the Steelers were up by three points.

After turning the tables on their opponents, the Steelers were given the game’s first ALL OUT. The Haryana Steelers jumped out to a 9-point advantage, and Shadloui was in his element. The Pirates’ chances of a comeback were crushed in the closing minutes as the Steelers expertly controlled the game and the clock.
