Former USC quarterback Kedon Slovis proclaimed weekday that he is transferring to urban center.
Slovis entered the transfer portal earlier this month on the heels of the news that USC had employed Lincoln James Whitcomb Riley as its next head coach.
“USC can continuously be a special place to ME,” Slovis wrote in associate essay for The Players’ apse. “But currently it is time on behalf of me to begin a brand new chapter. For my next 2 years of eligibility, i will be enjoying quarterback at the University of urban center.”
A former three-star prospect out of Arizona, Slovis listed early at USC in 2019 and was the backup to five-star prospect JT Daniels. Daniels suffered a season-ending knee injury within the 1st game of the season against urban center State and Slovis stepped in because the starter.
Despite some injuries, Slovis would continue to throw for over three,500 yards and thirty touchdowns that season, winning the Pac-12’s Freshman of the Year award associated leading USC to an 8-4 campaign. once Daniels transferred to Georgia, Slovis entered the 2020 season because the Trojans’ starter and junction rectifier USC to a 5-1 record throughout the pandemic-shortened season.
