As a football or athlete, representing your national team is just like a dream come true moment for anyone. After all, millions and millions of aspiring athletes compete for just a handful of posts to be included in the playing XI.
“Football has always been my passion. I fell in love with the game when I was a kid. Today, I can’t think of my life without football. I am practising hard on Staten Island. I hope my dream of playing for my national team will get fulfilled one day,” Henry Hysenagolli stated.
The 19-year-old made it to Club Deportivo Legnes (CD Leganés)—Under 19 team in 2020. It opened up plenty of new avenues for him. He said that signing a contract with CD Leganés as a professional athlete was one of the best things to have happened in his life.
CD Leganés, a professional football club, represents Leganes—a city in Spain. It participates in plenty of matches, including the Segunda Division. CD Leganés hasn’t participated in Spain’s popular La Liga contest, which is one of the most famous professional football leagues in Spain after the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship.
“Right now, I’m looking forward to making a dynamic start of my professional career. It brings me lots of joy to be a part of this prestigious team. I waited for so long and gave whatever I could to the game. I am excited and eagerly waiting to get into the field,” Henry Hysenagolli explained.
Henry Hysenagolli knows that making it into the esteemed team was hard, but cementing your place in the squad is even more difficult. So, he isn’t complacent. He’s still giving his 100% every time he steps onto the field. You will mostly find him on the field to hone his athletic skills even more.
Henry Hysenagolli was born and brought up in Brooklyn and Bulls Head respectively to a family with Albanian roots. Henry had studied at Graniteville School before he settled in Spain last year. Now, he wants to complete his higher education in Spain, which offers him the right platform to give a fillip to his football aspirations.
Henry Hysenagolli represented his U—19 Albanian team at a tournament for Albania. He also showed his talent at USL Championship League with FA Euro, New York. Soon, he focused his full attention on Staten Island United, which became Cedar Stars soon.
Henry Hysenagolli is certainly an asset to any team. He made a very casual start to his football career as an athlete for his local football team, but he showed tremendous commitment to the game before making it to Cedar Stars.
Henry Hysenagolli’s primary goal is to make his team win in big matches.
Once he landed in Spain, he fell in love with this multi-cultural and multi-racial nation with a glorious heritage. He fell in love with the country’s vibe and passion for the game.
The 19-year-old initially had the fear of not knowing Spanish, but he didn’t know that most of his colleagues were proficient in English. So it became easy for Henry to interact with his teammates, coach, and support staff.
Henry Hysenagolli also has a deep passion for art, aesthetics, and heritage. In his spare time, he loves exploring Spanish history, art, and culture.
