Actor Dennis Quaid has announced to be engaged to his younger girl friend names Laura Savoie. It has been months that the actor has been reported to dating a 26 years old student of University of Texas enrolled in Ph.D. The actor will be tying the knot for the fourth time.
The star, 65 years old from the “Parents Trap” has confirmed that he is officially engaged to his 26 years old girl friend named Laura Savoie. He was popped up with a question in Hawaii where he is busy in promoting his upcoming World War II flick “Midway” which has already been filmed last year in Honolulu.
The actor shared certain details about the proposal and said that, “It happened on the very northernmost point of Oahu, at Turtle Bay, it was kind of spontaneous. It was very much a surprise.”
He also admitted that he had planned the moment for the past month and a half however it went rockier as compared to it was expected.
He added, “I had the ring in my pocket … I wanted it to be private,” he explained. “She was actually taking a selfie of us, and I put the ring in front and said, ‘Will you marry me?’ — and then she fell down.”
He also told that he proposed with a vintage engagement ring. The ring was deisgned by Giorgio Bulgari. It has earlier been confirmed by several outlets that the actor has been spotted dating a younger student from University of Texas doing PhD in Accounting. They are being spotted together since June while in August they were seen enjoying a vacation together in Lake Como, Italy.
Quaid has also been dating the model named Santa Auzina after he got separated from his ex-wife Kimberly Buffington. They divorced each other after 14 years. It was finalized last year i.e. 2018. The 65 years old actor has twins who are 10 years old i.e. Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace with Kimberly Buffington. They actually surrogated the babies in 2007. They were married from 2004 to 2018.
Earlier to this, he was married to actress Meg Ryan for 10 years. With her he has a 27 years old son named Jack. His marriage with the actress stayed from 1978 to 1983.
On the other hand, Savoie has been reported to be dating actor Jeremy Piven when she was attending college at Pepperdine University.
