Both these Langrisser I and II are RPG strategy based games telling the classic tale of good versus evil.
According to the steam page by officials:
“Langrisser I: The forces of darkness are descending on the kingdom of Baldea. Take up your sword as Prince Ledin, and discover the evil that lies in the heart of the Dalsisempire.”
“Langrisser II: The forces of darkness once again threaten the realm. Thrust between warring factions, it is up to our hero Elwin to navigate this war and determine which path will bring peace to this conflict.”
Each of these games has its own classic appearance setting returning the both to their roots. The players who have alreay played the series before may be willing to take advantage of the options of the remake of the game. The remake of the game shows the updated work as compared to original design of the game along with the added voice acting.
Characters of the game were originally created by the Satoshi Urushihara who has worked on Cybernator and Growlanser. The art remake version features of the game are developed by ArTonelico artist named Ryo Nagi. Urushihara did designs one of the new characters i.e. Betty for the remake of the series.
Masaya Games developed Langrisser I and II and these were earlier released in 1990s. The first series was released in 1991 however late it was released in North America as Warsong. The said series continued for decades however almost none of these games were known to be released outside Japan. It was back in 2015, when the last title i.e. Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensel was released worldwide.
Langrisser I and II will be released on PC via Nintendo Switch, Steam, and PlayStation 4. The competent authorities have announced the release of Physical editions as well. It includes the regular versions in addition to the collector’s edition. The store i.e. NIS America has limited edition of the game. This constitutes the visual book, game, original 2- disc soundtrack, art cards, Songs of War 3 disc soundtrack etc, and all this is accessible in the package of the collector’s box.
No doubt, the games have been released at different times around the world. North America will be receiving the release of the games in March and to be specific March 10th, in Europe on March 13 while in New Zealand and Australia on March 20.
Well wait is over and it has been officially announced that Classic Strategy Games Langrisser I and II Launching Worldwide In March 2020. So there is almost no time to get hold of these games and enjoy playing them. Wait is almost over and we will be presented with whole new range of these classic games in a packaged form as stated above.
