Shanghai Municipality in east China hosted the debut of China Media Group’s (CMG) sports news show, “Morning Sports,” on Sunday in anticipation of the 2024 Summer Olympics, which will get underway in Paris, France, on July 26.
Thomas Bach, the president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and Shen Haixiong, the president of CMG, were present at the program’s opening ceremony, which was used to unveil CMG’s Paris 2024 logo and honor its broadcast team.
Shen stated at the ceremony that CMG, one of the largest all-inclusive international media groups in the world, will try its hardest to fulfill its responsibilities as the 2024 Olympic Games’ primary broadcaster and the owner of all media rights. The production trucks of CMG departed Beijing on Saturday and traveled to Ningbo, located in the Zhejiang Province of eastern China. From there, they traveled to Paris. It is anticipated that they will reach the French capital towards the end of July.
CMG will use these production trucks to deliver the first-ever 8K ultra high definition broadcast signal of the Olympic Games in Paris. Shen declared that CMG is prepared to work with the IOC to advance Esports competitions, accelerate technology innovation, and take part in other initiatives. Shen stated that CMG will deploy a top team to produce world-class broadcasting content for the Games in Paris in 2024. CMG is prepared.
Bach visited CMG’s Shanghai International Media Port on Sunday. “He said he’s glad to meet some of his old friends and feel their enthusiasm for the Olympic Movement.” The IOC boss also praised CMG’s contributions to carrying forward the Olympic spirit.
Bach expressed his satisfaction with CMG’s innovative approach to Olympic broadcasting, citing the company’s most recent technological advancements, during his remarks at the launch event. With the use of immersive audio, artificial intelligence, and other technologies by CMG, he anticipates a novel experience for the audience.
