Indian badminton stars Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will make a comeback on the court at the 2024 BWF Super 750 China Masters, which will be held from November 19 to 24 at Shenzhen Arena in China.
The best athletes from all over the world would compete for victory in this tournament, which has a USD 1,150,000 prize fund.
Indian badminton fans may expect an exciting event since the top men’s doubles team, SatChi, is making a comeback after a lengthy hiatus after their devastating loss at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
The competition is officially known as the Li-Ning China Masters 2024.
As part of the China Masters championships, which have been conducted since 2005, the 17th edition of the 2024 China Masters will be the 36th BWF World Tour tournament.
The reigning champions in the 2024 BWF China Masters are Chen Yufei of the People’s Republic of China in the women’s singles division and Kodai Naraoka of Japan in the men’s singles division.
The Chinese team of Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang are back as champions in men’s doubles, and Nami Matsuyama and Chiharu Shida of Japan are champions in women’s doubles.
The Chinese duo of ZHENG Si Wei and HUANG Ya Qiong are the reigning champions in mixed doubles.
