The second leg of Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings will be played at Eden Gardens.
Both the team have their own issues to solve before this match. For Chennai, form of Shane Watson is the biggest issue. Apart from him, every other batsman has played some decent innings in the Super Kings line up. One more thing is they are depended a lot on their spinners and the wicket at Eden Gardens is not a spinner friendly track. Their fast bowlers will need to have some solid plans against the likes of Rusell, Lynn, and Narine.
Kolkata is a team which is too much depended on Andre Rusell. Kolkata is suffering from something which is a part of Rajasthan Royals too. Both the team have a player who is a good opening batsman. For Kolkata, it is Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi for Rajasthan. Both the teams are not able to give the player to play at their favorite position and because of this both the teams are suffering.
Kolkata should try Gill at number three position, Utthappa will come in at number four and you’ll have your two finishers in the form of Dinesh Karthik and Andre Rusell to play the role of finisher.
Both Narine and Lynn didn’t play last game and are sure to make a come back in today’s game.
