Former university of Louisville basketball coach Dino Gaudio is dealing with government indictments for purportedly attempting to coerce the program, the acting U.S. lawyer for the Western District of Kentucky reported on Tuesday.
Gaudio was charged by the U.S. lawyer’s office for supposedly taking steps to tell the media of selecting infringement on the off chance that he wasn’t paid 17 months of compensation to not report the issue.
Court records likewise show a book Gaudio shipped off other Louisville mentors containing one of the enrollment recordings he took steps to deliver, as indicated by a tweet from Fox associate WDRB journalist Jason Riley.
The college delivered an explanation saying that Gaudio’s agreement with the group wasn’t restored and that it won’t remark further on the government and NCAA examinations.
“While I cannot comment on the details or substance of the matter, I am grateful for the professionalism of members of law enforcement and the United States Attorney’s Office,” head men’s basketball coach Chris Mack said in the statement. “The University and I were the victims of Coach Gaudio’s conduct and I will continue to fully cooperate with authorities in their investigation.”
