Reports: Broncos to sign T Cameron Fleming to 1-year deal

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos are not done adding rivalry to the correct tackle position.

As per reports from 9News’ Mike Klis and NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Broncos are marking tackle Cameron Fleming to a one-year contract.

Fleming, a 2014 fourth-round pick by the New England Patriots, has begun 42 games during his seven-year NFL vacation. In 2020, during his solitary season with the Giants, he began every one of the 16 games at right tackle.

Prior to marking with the Giants, Fleming kicked off six games more than two years with the Cowboys and showed up in 28 absolute games.

During his four seasons in New England to begin his vocation, Fleming began 20 games and showed up in 47.

A 6-foot-6, 320-pound player, Fleming ought to vie for the beginning right tackle work that became open when the Broncos set Ja’Wuan James on the non-football injury list.

The Broncos marked Bobby Massie to a one-year contract on Wednesday, and they added previous undrafted free specialist Ryan Pope to the list prior that day. Massie has begun 110 games since being drafted in 2012.

As per the reports, Fleming is required to join Massie, Pope, beginning left tackle Garett Bolles and Quinn Bailey at tackle on the Broncos’ dynamic list. Calvin Anderson is required to be in the group, too, after he was offered as a selective rights free specialist in March.

The Broncos are scheduled to play Fleming’s previous group, the Giants, in Week 1 of the 2021 season.
