UEFA Nations League: The Spain team that will play the Netherlands in the two-leg quarterfinals of the Nations League this month does not include Barcelona midfielder Gavi.
However, Luis de la Fuente, the coach of Spain, has left out the midfield player. In the meantime, Real Madrid defender Raul Asencio has been called up for the first time, and Barca defender Inigo Martinez has also been selected in the team after missing out on their successful Euro 2024 campaign.
Moreover, Marco Asensio, who has seven goals in eight games while on loan from Paris Saint-Germain at Aston Villa, is not listed.
Memphis Depay, who has two goals and four assists in ten games for Brazilian team Corinthians this season, has been called up by Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman, while defender Matthijs de Ligt is also part of the Oranje party.
However, Stefan de Virj, Nathan Ake, Micky van de Ven, and Joshua Zirkzee, De Ligt’s Manchester United teammate, are not present.
