Beginning in 2026, the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup will be a new yearly international club competition. The six confederation club tournament winners will compete for this new worldwide championship in years when the FIFA Women’s Club World Cup is not held.

The following rounds will make up the preliminary stage

First round: The OFC champion will be hosted by the AFC winner.

Round Second: The victor of the first round will get to see the CAF champion.

In the semifinals, the Concacaf champion will play the CONMEBOL champion, and the victor of Round 2 will advance to play the UEFA champion.

Final Four phase: The semifinals, a play-off for third place, and the final will make up the last round.
