After James Payton’s first goal (15′), Ward added two goals (19′ and 29′) to bring his season total to 11 goals. England’s tenacious defense put an end to India’s two goals from Abhishek (18′) and Sukhjeet Singh (39′).

Europe will host the next FIH Pro League 2024–25 stop in June, with men’s and women’s competitions in Valencia, Spain, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
India’s men’s team will play the Netherlands in the Amsterdam leg of their campaign on June 7, which will also feature Argentina. India’s last league games against the hosts and Australia will thereafter take place in Antwerp, Belgium.
On the other hand, India women will begin playing Argentina and Australia in England on June 14. Following the London leg, they will play the hosts, Belgium, in Antwerp, followed by China in Berlin, Germany, for the final league round.
