CAF Champions League: Three of the four African clubs who will compete in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 participated in the draw for the CAF Champions League 2024–25 quarterfinals on Thursday, February 20.
Espérance Sportive de Tunis, the 2024 CAF Champions League finalists, will compete fiercely against South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns FC.
Al Hilal of Sudan will play Al Ahly FC of Egypt, the two-time African champions.
The most successful team in the Champions League (12 titles), Al Ahly, has advanced to the final seven times in the last eight editions, winning six of them.
