Badminton Asia hosts the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships every two years to determine which country badminton mixed team in Asia is the best.
The 2025 competition is scheduled for February 11–16 in Qingdao, China. Being the bronze medallists from the 2023 competition, India will try to improve on their showing.
The country’s roster at the 2025 BAMTC now only has 13 shuttlers instead of the initial 14 after PV Sindhu pulled out due to a hamstring injury she sustained during practice.
Lakshya Sen, HS Prannoy, Chirag Shetty, and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy will now lead India’s effort in Qingdao. They are joined on the men’s team by Sathish Kumar Karunakaran, Dhruv Kapila, and MR Arjun.
On the other side, Ashwini Ponappa, Tanisha Crasto, Gayathri Gopichand, Treesa Jolly, Aadya Variyath, and Malvika Bansod make up the Indian women’s team competing in the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships.
