Botswana and Saint Helena will play in Match 11 of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Africa Sub-Regional Qualifier C on Wednesday, November 27, at the Tafawa Balewa Square Cricket Oval in Lagos.
Currently leading their Africa Sub-Regional Qualifier campaign, Botswana has not lost. Following a 48-run victory over Eswatini, they defeated Sierra Leone by 5 wickets and easily defeated Ivory Coast by 10 wickets in their third game.
Saint Helena, meanwhile, has yet to secure their first victory. With three straight losses—a 118-run loss to hosts Nigeria, a 48-run loss to Eswatini, and a 4-wicket loss to Sierra Leone—their campaign has been poor.
Eswatini, Ivory Coast, hosts Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Saint Helena are the other four teams competing in the tournament, in addition to Botswana and Saint Helena.
The regional final will only be reached by the top two teams at the conclusion of the 15 round-robin games. They will join six other nations that were given byes after participating in the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, including Namibia and Uganda.
