On Monday, March 25, following their first game against DC, Punjab will play Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
They will play their third game against the Gujarat Titans on April 4 and the Lucknow Super Giants on March 30.
After revealing their new uniform ahead of the upcoming season, Punjab Kings, led by Shikhar Dhawan, will be hoping for a turn around in their fortunes.
The Mohali-based team will be aiming to make it count at bat with the likes of Liam Livingstone, Rilee Rossouw, Shikhar, and Sikandar Raza in the lineup, plus star player Jonny Bairstow, who returned to the team before the previous season.
With Harshal Patel and Chris Woakes joining the bowling lineup, which also includes Kagiso Rabada, Arshdeep Singh, Nathan Ellis, Sam Curran, and Rahul Chahar, it will be much more effective.
The previous season, Punjab’s campaign was disappointing as they managed just six wins and 12 points from 14 games, finishing eighth in the points table.
