The holdup has ended.
As part of the 2024 SEC Football Schedule Reveal, which aired on ESPN and SEC Network, Auburn football’s schedule for 2024 was revealed on Wednesday night.
The Tigers’ eagerly awaited encounter with the newest members of the SEC will take place at Jordan-Hare Stadium on September 28 when Auburn meets Oklahoma. The Sooners, who have a 2-0 record over the Tigers, will play each other in their third meeting of the season on September 28. On the other hand, Oklahoma has never visited Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Auburn’s two opponents, Georgia and Alabama, will meet during a familiar stretch of the season when the Tigers travel to Athens, Georgia, for Week 6 of the “Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry” on October 5. In the meanwhile, on November 30, Auburn will travel to Tuscaloosa for Week 14’s Iron Bowl.
Hugh Freeze and the Tigers’ non-conference schedule includes a home opener versus Alabama A&M on August 31 and a September 7 visit from Cal. Then, on September 14, Auburn will host a home game against New Mexico; on November 23, Louisiana-Monroe will visit Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Auburn draws home games against Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, and Oklahoma in SEC play. The Tigers will also be traveling to Georgia, Missouri, Kentucky, and Alabama as part of their league schedule.
