Mumbai Indians is taking on Rajasthan Royals in today’s first game.
Mumbai Indians who are known for a slow start has stood by their reputation this year too. During the first few games, the team had issues that were bringing negative results for them. But fast forward to their 10th game and they have done it all. They have restricted teams to score runs against them, have bowled really well in the powerplay as well as in the death overs, and players like Kieron Pollard and Rohit Sharma are doing justice to their talent. The run that this team is having right now they can surely clinch their fourth season victory.
For Rajasthan Royals, nothing is going in favor of them. Started this season with controversy and then they lost their path right from the first game only. Everyone thought that giving a chance to Rahul Tripathi will solve their problems. But that too didn’t work for them. Jos Buttler has gone back to England, in a week or so Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer will also leave for their national teams. These are the only players who have played well for the team consistently and once they will leave RR will have a lot of gaps to cover. The team management has sacked Ajinkya Rahane from captaincy and Steven Smith will be the captain. But Smith will also leave in few weeks time.
Jos Buttler is out. Ben Stokes will replace Ish Sodhi if he gets fit. Mayank Markande can replace Jayant Yadav in MI.
Being the 4 pm game, the team winning the toss would prefer batting first.
